Trust me, they don’t.
People assume that because the girl in the right is named Silenia she should be nicknamed Sily. But no. Not at all. Her nick would be Sil, and nothing more. Sily is too… out of place, really!
“Yay Sily! Are we best friend yet?”
“Oh god, you again…”
Sily is quite the freak one in her neihborhood, with her purple hair, little fang visible, and her dumb and strange cat. But that’s how’s her family is : freaky. She has the ability to change her hair when she wants (but purple is really her favorite color).
When coming to Hogwarts she didn’t even think about wich house she will be sorted, and only wanted to practice charms on her cat, Ponais. This little buddy is too cute to be real… Sily was finaly sorted in Hufflepuff and here is she, trying now to learn lots of spells, and avoiding potion class every now and then. She has a thing for Astronomy too, always being amazed by the moon and the stars.
She made some friends since she came to Hogwarts, much to her amazement, but she deal with it. One of her “closest friend” is a Ravenclaw who glomps her the very first day of class, saying they will be the best friends. Sily didn’t quite remember his name yet, but he tends to stalk her…
